How to Clean Your Carpet

Carpet cleaning is an important household work for every house. We have to use carpet and as well as we need to clean these too. For this reason we should know how to clean carpet by you. It isn’t any difficult task, but you should more careful to do it.

Here, I make a procedure of carpet cleaning which is followed by three steps. These simple three steps are:

1.      Prepare you carpet for cleaning

2.      Set Up the Machines

3.      Start Cleaning

Let’s see how to clean your carpet by these three steps.

1.      Prepare you carpet for cleaning

·         Move the furniture: At first, you should move all the furniture you keep on the carpet. Keep them in a safe place, but not in remote place, because you have to carry them back again after cleaning.

·         Find affected areas: Fix the problems of your carpet. Fix the spots and mark these spots by marker. Then, give more efforts on those areas to get the best result.

2.      Set Up

·         Hot water extraction: Mix hot water in your cleaning machine. Read the label directories of your product carefully. Every machine has his self-direction. So, don’t mix up with one to another. Water should not be so hot as to scald or burn skin.

·         Remove dirty water: Remove dirty water from the cleaning machine’s tank. Clean the tank completely.

·         Fill the tank: Now fill the cleaning machine’s tank with water and cleaner mixture. Fill the tank wisely.

·         Start it: Check the cleaning machine for last time before using it. If everything is alright, then start cleaning by the machine.

3.      Start Cleaning

·         Vacuum on: Press the switch of “Vacuum”. Some machines only use “On” switch, others use “Vacuum on” switch.

·         Clean the carpet: Start moving the machine on the whole carpet. Never stop it on a place for long time. If you do that, your carpet would be ruin in a while. Because, the cleaning machine produce heavy hit when it cleans the carpet.

·         Stop the switch: If the cleaning waters are fully used, then the sound of machine will be changed. You should stop cleaning then. Now looks that if you need any more wash or not. If you need any more wash, then remove the dirty water from the box and fill hot water again in the box.
